Answers to the practical questions.
Your virtual server is assigned to your account and is not shared with other Hostwolf customers. It is a virtual machine, not an entire physical host.
Connect a GitHub repository and choose a deployment branch. A push to that branch starts a build and deploy. You can configure environment variables and use preview deploys to test changes.
Apps includes scheduled backups for managed Postgres, MySQL, Redis and MongoDB databases. Keep your own exports for long-term retention. Backups are deleted when the server is deleted; do not assume a plain VPS includes managed database backups.
Choose a region when creating your server. Locations span Europe, North America, South America, Asia, Oceania and Africa; the live list is in the locations section above. Your application data stays in the selected region.
Outbound port 25 is blocked to prevent spam. Use a transactional email provider through its API or an available authenticated SMTP port.
You can cancel at any time. Choose deletion at the end of the paid period or immediately. Deleting a server also deletes its data and backups, so export anything you need to keep first.
Yes. Choose VPS for root SSH, Ubuntu, Debian or Rocky Linux, reboot and rebuild controls, and a browser console. You manage the software and services on it yourself.
